Founded by Aditya Gullapalli, a high school jazz saxophonist, Austin Sound Care grew from a simple observation: when he played at local nursing homes, something changed in the room. Residents who had been quiet began tapping their feet. Faces lit up. Conversations started. Music became a bridge between generations.

What began as informal performances at a few nursing homes is now becoming a movement to bring together young Austin musicians to share their talent where it matters most.
